America's promised full-scale offensive against Iraq is being launched with small, discreet military steps. FEB 15 - the first American Special Forces moved into northern Iraq from Turkey, a development first picked up by the Japanese paper Sankei Shimbun and later confirmed by other sources. FEB 21 - a second US Special Forces contingent landed in Tbilsi, capital of Georgia, the day Bush arrived in Beijing, possibly partly explaining the stiff welcome extended him by Chinese leaders and their refusal to back up his policies on missile proliferation and Iraq. MEANWHILE... 1] a heavy American military buildup proceeds at the Masirah Island base of Oman at the mouth of the Persian Gulf 2} a similar buildup proceeds the big Ali Salem air base in Kuwait, 60 km from the Iraqi border. 3] US forces have been streaming quietly into Turkey, Jordan and Israel for several weeks. NATURE AND STYLE OF THE NEXT TURKEY SHOOT An advance American wedge inside Iraq + a Pakistan-style staging post in Georgia + the progressive concentration of military might around Iraq's borders means that America's full-scale military invasion should be ready to go by the end of March!!! The general shape of its opening gambits is emerging: air-ground assaults coming from the North -Turkey and Georgia from the West - from Jordan, Israel and US bases in Egyptian Sinai, chiefly the big air base at Sharm el Sheikh - and from the South - Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain, as well as from bases in Qatar and the Yemen-owned island of Socotra. This array of strength will be supported by US, British, Turkish and Israel naval units in the Mediterranean, the Persian Gulf, and the Red Sea. At various stages, Turkish, Jordanian, Kuwaiti and Israeli ground forces will be integrated in the campaign. The advance US unit behind Iraq lines is not there to recruit Kurdish or other oppositions, but as an undercover force assigned to reach the Iraqi heartland and prepare the way for the main force by marking out - or even sabotaging - strategic targets. EVIL GEO-STRATEGIC MANOEUVRES The American landing in Georgia is worth emphasising in terms of its geo-strategic consequences. It’s a striking global maneuver which signals a further deepening of Bush's friendship with Russia’s President Putin, whose consent has made the Georgia base available. “Look, we’ll shut up about your chechen terrorism if you shut up about ours. Plus u get haffa billion personal, deal?” Russian forces could also be co-opted into the American war effort - just as Russian, Uzbek and Tajik Special Forces secretly joined the opening US military moves in the Afghan Slaughter in early October. The Russians are already rendering technical and intelligence assistance. American advance contingents in Georgia are engaged in two preparatory missions: 1. Upgrading & adapting local air bases and airports to carry American air force fighter units and transport landings, as an alternative to the big US bases in Turkey, especially at Incerlik which, they believe, could be knocked out at the beginning of the campaign by Iraqi airborne forces or missiles with chemical, biological or radiological warheads. The Georgian bases would be out of Iraqi air and missile range. The American unit in Georgia includes officers from Incerlik whose job it is to organize the smooth and rapid transfer of Turkish-based detachments. 2. To help the Russian army flush out Chechen freedom fighters controlling the Pankisi Gorge in the precipitous mountains and ravines of the Georgia-Chechnya border from where some 2,000 Chechens, Afghan al Qaeda and Taliban fighters could upset the turkey shoot by striking American and Russian forces based in Georgia from the rear. IRAQI TURKEY NOT CELEBRATING COMING THANKSGIVING Israeli strategists view the new Palestinian focus on Israeli armed forces as an integral element of Iraq’s preparations. American, Israeli and Jordanian intelligence authorities believe that Yasser Arafat has made a strategic (or principled?) decision to throw the Palestinians behind Iraq, just as he did in the 1991 Gulf War, and that the recent destruction of the Merkava-3 tank in the Gaza Strip and the Al Arik roadblock attack five days later which killed six Israeli troops were too precise for the intelligence capabilities of the Palestinians. They were most likely planned by Iraqi military intelligence agents, who are now infiltrating Palestinian-held territory in increasing numbers. This development must be closely linked with the sudden crop of reports of Arafat's imminent release from Ramallah, where Israel has bottled him up since December 3. He may even be allowed to travel for the first time and reach the Arab summit conference opening in Beirut on March 28. This dispensation looks like a US-Egyptian-Israeli attempt to purchase Palestinian neutrality and disengage the Palestinian-Israel conflict from the geo-political turkey shoot. If the Palestinian military/terror threat were lifted from Israel and Jordan, their armies would be freer to shoot some turkeys themselves. If Arafat is courageous enuff to stick to his decision to aid Saddam Hussein, however, the tide of Palestinian terrorism against the Israeli army will rise and spill over into Jordan. Look to the edges of our society - this is where the cracks are appearing which allow the Light to shine in. This is where the freedom to change is greatest. Evolution occurs through sudden shifts followed by periods of integration, and humanity is about to experience its most profound shift yet. Our very ideas about reality and our true identity are about to be turned upside down and inside out. If you are willing, the One Self is about to awaken in, as and through you. 2. OPENING TO THE NEW What is coming is unlike anything before. We stand on the edge of a vast remembering which will change everything, or, at least, we shall see the world with new eyes. Though nothing has prepared us for this event, our soul has been waiting for it since the dawn of time. Something is happening which is almost literally beyond belief. New possibilities are opening. New ways of thinking-being-living. We are no longer allowing ourselves to be confined by the beliefs of those who came before. We are freeing up to discover for ourselves what is possible, and also what is desirable. With the birthing of this new reality comes a larger identity and new, seemingly magical, powers. Yet, to the master magician, magic is no longer magic. Somewhere inside us we know that so much more is possible, that life is about far more than we have been led to believe. This process of awakening is a very individual experience - hard to relate without sounding crazy - know that you are not crazy! 3. THE NEW WAVE OF RAVE There already exists a place where we can experience this new reality... the Rave. It’s not about a particular style of music or party, it’s an experience. The Rave is a celebration of our awakening, of our true nature, and of Pleasure. Here we create a Sanctuary where we step outside of social-cultural norms to build our own culture, with its own spoken or unspoken - codes of conduct. A space where our Oneness becomes a living and shared reality. It’s an experience unlike any other, a true celebration of existence, which is why Rave Culture and the dance music are spreading around the world like a potent virus. We are now experiencing another wave of the Energy whose arrival birthed rave/dance culture in the late 80s. The genie is out of the lamp and no force on this Earth can put it back. 4. TASTE THE RAPTURE At the heart of the Rave is the experience of rapture. Like love and ecstasy, it’s a feeling, and a signpost pointing Home. We taste it when we expand to include more of our soul. At the deepest point, when we experience the physical, earthly realm opening to and merging with the ‘heavenly¹ (the non-physical, angelic realms or Spirit), ‘the rapture¹ occurs. Heaven and Earth become One in and through us. What we experience is more and better than either on its own. Heaven is a Rave on Earth. Our physical world is the newest frontier of Spirit, a playstation for angels, and the goal is to awaken as the All embodied and ensouled in this ordinary/ extraordinary world of form. As we do so, we bridge what is ‘above¹ and what is ‘below¹. All creation now knows and experiences itself as One, and in doing so the One experiences Itself as all of creation. Then the Party can really begin. 5. THE TRUTH ABOUT DRUGS Virtually every culture in the history of humanity has known that mind-altering substances, far from being a problem, are a part of the solution. Our ancestors knew these substances as truly gifts of the Gods, keys to facilitate and catalyse the process of awakening hidden by the Creator within the fabric of creation itself (aren¹t we clever, we thought of everything!). Used wisely, they can unlock the doors of the mind, allowing access to the soul¹s knowing and to the Divine Intelligence which exists within the multiplicity of forms which make up creation itself. The doors, however, which open to the deepest of Life¹s secrets, have combination locks for which we need to know the right combinations. What’s deepening this new wave of Rave is a particular combination - ecstasy and bud, modern psycho-pharmaceutical technology and Nature combining. In stepping through these doors, though, we must be willing to face our own darkness and fears, and must learn to protect ourselves through surrender to the Highest Good. It’s time for the truth to be told - of the benefits as well as of the dangers - so we can make our own informed choices. Almost always it’s ignorance that kills. 6. THE FUTURE IS OURS TO MAKE For not much longer will the new generations accept the limitations of the world of yesterday. We have no time for narrow-minded, jobsworth scientists nor bigoted self-righteous religionists who do not acknowledge, let alone value, our truths and our experiences. It’s time to build a new vision of what is possible, based on what is real and true for us now. To do this we have to give our experiences a voice and a context. A vast energy is slowly stirring which, when fully awake, will usher in a way of living based on those good old-fashioned values of taking responsibility, for ourselves, for our actions, for our neighbours - sharing our resources, building community, and enjoying life’s simple things like love, friendship, music, pleasure and the natural mind-altering ‘allies’. The New can only manifest to the degree that we are able to imagine it. We are the future and as each day passes our numbers grow and our day comes closer. 7. FEEL YOUR SELF ALIVE The key to all of this is your feelings. Love, ecstasy and rapture are all feelings. The more of your feelings you are able to feel, the more of life you will be able to experience. This is the work. Feel your feelings - all of your feelings, whatever they may be. Painful, uncomfortable and difficult feelings block us from going deeper into ourselves and opening to Life. The rewards of facing and dealing with them are enormous. By accepting and allowing your feelings to flow through you (only consciously now!) they are released, freeing yourself of the past.And the more of this Moment of Now you can take in, the more Reality you will be open to and the more amazing your experience will be. It’s ongoing work, but it will transform your experience of yourself in your everyday life as well as at the Rave. 8. MUSIC - USE IT Music speaks to us in a language of feeling. Its frequencies are channels through which our feelings can flow on the journey into the Beyond, into places and experiences that will heal the wounds of our past and open gateways to our future. Listen not only to the words, but try to hear the words within the sounds. Try this after a smoke. Your deepest knowing will hear meaningful words within the frequencies of the Music. For Music is a gift from the Beyond, a means of connecting us directly to deeper aspects of ourselves as well as to energies and dimensions which presently lie beyond our imagining. Technological advances have enabled an amazing development in the creation of sounds and Music that is unlike anything before. We’re now called more powerfully than ever to journey into the Music, to reconnect with the Source... so we may know our true nature as One with the Divine in our lived experience of the Dance itself. 9. TRUST LIFE The Multiverse will communicate with you and share its secrets when you are ready. It always has. You just have to be open and aware enough to listen. Life is multi-dimensional, and the messages of one level speak simultaneously of deeper levels. You only have to let go of your doubts and trust, for these messages are only your larger Self trying to get through to you. It may happen in a wonderful synchronicity that stops you in your tracks, saying ‘there is much more to your life than you imagine¹. Or maybe in the words of the next song or advertisement reflecting back to you just what you need to hear. Or even the words of this email sent to you out of the blue... The CIA's strategy of training agents in criminal activities often begins a cycle of violence that comes back to haunt the U.S. As pundits call for the CIA to recruit more shady characters in the hunt for Islamic terrorists, it is important to learn from serious mistakes that have been made in the past. The usual CIA mode of undermining foreign governments - from Russia to Cuba to Iran - has been to organize and train their opponents in criminal activities, including sabotage and smuggling. But time and again this strategy backfires. The problem is that as soon as the U.S. loses interest in its agents' cause, the terror techniques it has taught will more than likely be turned back against it. This happened in Afghanistan after the Soviet pullout, Washington abandoned the country to chaos, and various CIA-trained guerrilla factions started murdering each other. This in turn led to the Taliban campaign for strict unity and order, with many of the CIA-trained terrorists going over to the Taliban cause. And it also happened when the CIA trained Cuban exiles in sabotage and murder to undermine the Castro regime, and then left them high and dry when it shut down the program. HOW THE TERRORIST-TRAINING CYCLE WORKS (1) America recruits, arms, finances and uses agents against another government usually indirectly. (2) America pulls back from the common fight. Many of their terror-trainees cannot do this, if only because they do not know how to do anything else. (3) These agents turn anti-American, feeling a sense of deep betrayal. (4) They turn to other sources, often criminal, for employment and/or to finance their ongoing operations. With the ex-CIA Cuban exiles and now the bin Laden ex-CIA terrorists, a source of this financing becomes international drug trafficking. Miami, remember, became a war zone in the 1970s as competing Cuban exile groups took on both each other and U.S. law enforcement. (5) To combat this self-created enemy, the CIA and other U.S. agencies are forced to re-recruit some of these terrorists as double agents, to track their groups. This is exactly what the media pundits are calling for now - the increased use of human intelligence to penetrate the bin Laden network! And the CIA must certainly be doing it right now, and the much-discussed prohibition against recruiting criminal agents will not be being applied to this sensitive area of counter-intelligence. (6) These double agents end up in positions where they can commit major crimes, or allow or even encourage group criminal activity, in order to increase their status as a human intelligence asset.
